Year 11 Assessment Procedure

In Year 11, students follow a program of formal school based assessment in all courses. All tasks are designed to assess what students know and can do in relation to course outcomes and the Preliminary Common Grade Scale. Each task gives the student the opportunity to demonstrate their level of achievement through a range of task types such as research tasks, portfolios, performances, oral presentations, viva voce, essays and extended responses, tests and examinations, practical investigations, experiments and fieldwork to name a few. The nature of tasks varies from subject to subject.
